Recently, Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology published the list of gazelle enterprises in 2022, and 11 enterprises from Qingdao High-tech Zone were included in the list.  A total of 84 companies in Qingdao were selected as gazelle enterprises, and 13.1% were from Qingdao High-tech Zone.

The 11 enterprises are Qingdao Sci-High Quality Inspection Co., Ltd., Qingdao Baiheng New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Huadian Qingdao Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., Qingdao Jiayou Precision Machinery Co., Ltd., Qingdao Rectifier Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Qingdao Haida Biological Group Co., Ltd., Qingdao Gongwan Information Technology Co., Ltd., Qingdao Huaxin Crystal Electric Technology Co., Ltd., Qingdao Zhiteng Microelectronics Co., Ltd.,  Qingdao Zhongke Yingtai Commercial System Co., Ltd., and Qingdao Tongchan Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.

In recent years, Qingdao High-tech Zone regards gazelle enterprise cultivation as an important starting point to build a new engine of regional innovation and development and a new driving force of high-quality economic development, and vigorously implements the cultivation of small and medium-sized innovation enterprises.

Policy support and follow-up services have been continuously strengthened to guide factors to flow in the "four new" economic enterprises, and a batch of "vanguard" enterprises focusing on market segments, with strong innovation ability, high market share, key technologies and excellent quality and efficiency have been emerging.  Up to now, Qingdao High-tech Zone has cultivated a total of 27 gazelle  enterprises.
