On the morning of October 18, the Second Belt and Road Energy Ministerial Conference kicked off in Qingdao, East China’s Shandong Province. The Conference is jointly organized by the National Energy Administration of China and Shandong Provincial People’s Government, undertaken by Qingdao Municipal People’s Government, Shandong Development and Reform Commission, and the Energy Administration of Shandong Province. With the theme of “Join Hands towards a Greener and More Inclusive Energy Future”, the Conference focuses on the “Belt and Road” high-quality cooperation promoting the green and low-carbon development of energy and technological innovation and cooperation accelerating the development of energy transformation, among other topics, and will hold two sub-forums, “High Quality Connectivity Boosts Energy Trade and Development” and “Developing Green Energy to Promote the Harmonious Coexistence between People and Nature”.
