On September 11th, the 6th (Jinan) E-commerce Industry Expo & 2020 Spring City E-commerce Conference, which was co-sponsored by the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province and Jinan Municipal People’s Government, opened at Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center.

The theme of the expo is “Innovation and Integration, Application and Empowerment”. This industry expo set up more than 1,000 booths for rural e-commerce, cross-border e-commerce, Internet plus applications, platform to alleviate poverty with e-commerce, e-commerce livestreaming, and new media e-commerce. Hundreds of streamers were organized to conduct influencer marketing . 

During the period, more than 10 parallel forums and theme activities were held in the fields of community e-commerce, social e-commerce, live broadcast economy, rural revitalization, and talent training.

Jia Shuying, Deputy Director of the Department of E-commerce of the Ministry of Commerce, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech fully affirming the province’s efforts to promote the stable development of e-commerce, especially the promotion of the development of new business forms and models, and he put forward requirements and suggestions for the e-commerce development in next step.

Jia Shuying and her parties also inspected the live broadcast base of Phoenix Mountain E-commerce Industrial Park and Huangtai E-commerce Industrial Park. Zhang Yiying, Deputy Director of the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province, accompanied them to attend relevant activities.
