Six Projects from Jinan Signed at Shandong-Japan Industrial Cooperation and Exchange Symposium On July 30th, a symposium focusing on industrial cooperation and exchange between Shandong and Japan was held online in Jinan, capital of Shandong province, Tokyo and Osaka. This event revealed the current economic development of Shandong and Japan, and promoted the development of industries, industrial parks and key projects of both sides. More than 2,000 Chinese and Japanese companies participated in the symposium via online and offline channels. A total of 17 high-quality projects were signed at the symposium, which focus on the fields of biomedicine, high-tech materials, high-end manufacturing and international education. Six projects from Jinan were signed, including three biomedical projects. The symposium is a part of the “Dialogue with Shandong– Japan·Shandong Industrial Cooperation and Exchange Meeting” that started on July 30th and will last until Sept. 30th. The two-month event aims to deepen exchange and cooperation between Shandong and Japan, enhance multi-level and long-term cooperation among local governments, and expand new areas of cooperation.
