In the first three months of this year, Shandong provincial finance issued 59 items of subsidies, totaling 3.3 billion yuan, benefiting 8.343 million people.

In particular, in response to the COVID-19, Shandong provincial finance promptly provided 1.66 billion yuan in subsidies to people in need to ensure their basic livelihood. Of this, 920 million yuan was allocated for subsistence allowances in rural areas, benefiting 2.154 million people; 280 million yuan of subsidies was allocated for rural households with five guarantees, benefiting 477,000 people; 250 million yuan of subsidies was allocated for entitled groups, benefiting 363,000 people; and a total of 210 million yuan was allocated to care and living subsidies for the disabled, benefiting 1.815 million people.
