Market Prediction
CO2 degradable plastics, which can
be totally degraded in the natural environment, have good transparency, oxidation
resistance and bio-compatibility. They have found wide application in daily
life as well as industries. So far, only a few counties have the ability to
produce this kind of materials and their combined output is only 50,000 tons
per year. It is predicted that the market demand for bio-degradable plastics
will reach 1,300,000 per year and that for the CO2-degradable
plastics will be 130,000 tons per year.
Project Content
The project is located in Jining Chemical
Industrial Development Zone in Jinxiang county. The project will use patented
Chinese technologies. At present, there are four such technologies, they are the
Aliphatic Polycarbonate (PPC) Technology invented by the Changchun Institute of
China Science Academy, the Nanocatalyst Technology invented by the Guangzhou
Chemical Institute of China Science Academy, the Propylene Oxide technology
invented by Zhongshan University and the Rare Earth Coordinated Catalytic
technology invented by Tianjin University. The first three have been put into
industrialization.

The Zone has all necessary supportive infrastructure
for this project.
Investment and Profit Analysis
The total project investment is 950 million
yuan. The sales revenue is expected to reach 1.45 billion yuan and the yearly
profit of 190 million yuan. The ROI is 20% and the payoff period is 5 years.
